CHILDREN are teaming up with a fast-food restaurant to tidy up their playground.
Pupils at Ferryhill Station Primary School will be picking up litter at their school as their contribution to a Tidy Britain Group campaign.
More than 100 children are expected to take part in the litter pick, which takes place tomorrow afternoon.
They will be helped by a team of volunteers from the nearby McDonald's Restaurant, at Thinford.
Each of the children taking part will be presented with a meal voucher to use at any of the chain's restaurants.
