THE FATHER of a girl with a rare condition is to help raise cash for the hospital that treats her.
Maddison Walton has suffered from sleep apnoea - failing to breath properly while asleep - since she was born last November.
After treatment at Dryburn Hospital, Durham, father David Walton, from Wynard, Chester-le-Street, decided to repay their devotion.
Mr Walton will turn his workplace into a fun house on Friday. Shoppers at Alldays store in Consett will see him get a sponsored head shave before handing out prizes including a Newcastle United autographed football.
