BEGINNER'S luck won a young mother £110,000 on the bingo.
The 32-year-old housewife, who has asked not to be named, had only taken up bingo since her eight-month-old baby was born, so that she could take the occasional break.
Now the woman, from Stanley, County Durham, is considering what to do with the cash she won at the Gala bingo hall at Gateshead Metro Centre, last Friday.
She scooped the National Bingo Game prize of £100,000 and a regional prize of £10,034, plus the club prize of £237, after completing a full house in 46 numbers.
"None of my family plays bingo - but they all want to play now," she said. "It is a lot of money, and we are going to bank it and then have a good think about what to do with it."
