Monday's games -
Wolviston Res. must replay their Raine Trophy against Thornaby YC after fielding an ineligible player in the first game which they won 1-0. The tie will be played on May 5 - four days before the final against Bedale Athletic at Guisborough. There was only one goal between the two teams when they met in the league on Monday, away side Thornaby YC edging to a 3-2 victory. The visitors looked more dangerous and not surprisingly took a 14th-minute lead through Mac Allen following a free-kick. Just before half-time Allen scored a penalty after Michael Arif was brought down just inside the area. In the second-half the home side were thwarted by the heroics of Craig Longstaff who had pulled a couple of good first half saves. YC took a 3-0 lead when Arif's cross come shot sailed over Stuart Trotter in the Wolviston goal. A number of substitutes were made by the home side and in the 64th minute Ian Thompson pulled a goal back and five minutes later Wolviston should have had a second but Matthew Sykes head wide with the goal at his mercy. With ten minutes remaining Rob Barratt pulled a second back for Wolviston and although they pushed for an equalisier another good save from man of the match Longstaff denied them.
Carlin How and Grangetown BC shared the points in a 1-1 draw. Six minutes into the second half Matthew Jones was robbed by Ian Webster who lobbed Mark Harkin in the Carlin How goal from 35 yards. Straight from the restart the home side levelled when Jason Draper headed in from Jones flighted free-kick.
The Hollybush United and Fishburn Park game also ended all square at 2-2. In the last minute of the first-half visitors Fishburn grabbed the lead through Neil Braithwaite. The home finally levelled in the 70th minute through Ian Kirkbright and five minutes later took the lead through Steve Thornton. With two minutes remaining Gareth Reed with his first of the season rescued a point for the Whitby side.
