FOUR tourist information centres will be sporting a new look when they reopen next month.
The Hambleton District Council centres in Bedale, Northallerton, Easingwold and Great Ayton have undergone major refurbishments.
The Bedale and Great Ayton centres closed at the beginning of this week, while Northallerton closes today and Easingwold on Sunday, but they will open in May with a new image.
Chairman of the tourism sub-committee, Margaret Skilbeck, said: "These centres are an important part of our tourism market in Hambleton.
"The new look will give them a more professional image and show our visitors and the volunteers who man them how committed we are to this service."
Thirsk tourist information centre, currently at the World of James Herriot Centre, is due to move into new premises in the autumn.
