RESIDENTS are being asked for their views on how Gateshead Borough Council has performed during the past year.
More than 100,000 houses and businesses have received a copy of the council's Best Value Local Performance Plan for 2001/2002.
It covers the authority's achievements during the year and asks for views on how services can be improved.
Residents are being encouraged to complete and return the survey as soon as possible. Councillor George Gill, leader of Gateshead council, said: "We are committed to constantly improving the services we provide to local people."
Copies of the plan are available at Gateshead Civic Centre, libraries and council offices.
