THE General Medical Council has made an interim order against a North-East doctor.
Conditions were imposed on GP Martin Terry Cope, registered at 12 Ravenscourt Place, Gateshead, for a period of 18 months.
The conditions are that he shall cooperate with an officer from Gateshead and South Tyneside Health Authority, assigned to audit and monitor his clinical record-keeping and prescribing.
He was also ordered to comply with all relevant Gateshead and South Tyneside Health Authority protocols on vaccination and immunisations.
The order does not amount to a finding of fact, but has been imposed to protect the public pending a full investigation.
It is subject to review after six months
