PRESENTERS from Darlington radio station Alpha 103.2 rolled their sleeves up to take part in a charity car wash.
The disc jockeys offered to clean shoppers' cars at the Asda supermarket, in Whinbush Way, Darlington, with the proceeds going to St Teresa's Hospice.
The mammoth car wash on Saturday raised almost £500 for the charity.
Disc jockey Nick Pearce, who presents the Drivetime show, said: "We were asking for a minimum of £1, but most people gave a lot more.
"They were very generous because it was for charity and everyone gave their time free to take part."
