CHILDREN from a Darlington nursery got on their bikes to promote a charity cycle ride being organised by BBC Television's children's programme Blue Peter.
Street entertainer Mini Mansell entertained the youngsters from the Kids and Co Nursery at Darlington Town Hall.
Darlington will be one of 67 towns taking part in the Blue Peter Bikeathon on Sunday, to raise money for leukaemia research. Organisers hope to get into the Guinness Book of Records for the largest ever cycling event.
