AN engineering company with a below average accident rate has received a safety award.
Moor Control and Engineering, of Stockton, Teesside, was presented with the award by the British Safety Council.
The company had to show it had a low accident rate, good safety polices and a commitment to health and safety.
Sir Neville Purvis, director of the council, said: "The national safety awards highlight organisations that reach the top levels of health and safety. They are a mark of a proven and significant achievement in safety standards."
