A NORTH-EAST museum will soon be host to curators, creators, woodcutters and writers - all in the name of Adult Learners' Week.
Beamish Museum will hold a series of events to coincide with the Campaign for Learning national event between May 14 and 18.
Appearing for the first time are Billy Craggs and members of his writers' group from Age Concern in Sunderland. The group will give a series of lively performances of short plays and recitations, all with a Beamish flavour, including "A Miner's Life" and "A Trip to the Dentists in 1913".
Performances will take place between 10.30am and 3.30pm each day in the Roland Cookson room in the Beamish town.
The same venue will also host displays and exhibitions of work inspired by Beamish visits and presented by local adult groups from Bensham Grove Community Education Centre and the Sunderland writers' group from Age Concern
