CHILDREN are learning the arts of dance and film as part of a schools' project.
Cleveland Arts has teamed up with local artists to develop a short scheme for pupils. Aimed at introducing them to the idea of dance as a means of expression, it culminates in the production of a short film of their performance, edited by a professional film maker.
Among those taking part are Davie Rae, a street dancer specialising in break dancing, local film maker Craig Hornby, and photographic and video artist Phil Reilly.
The team will visit St Edward's Primary School, Middlesbrough; Durham Lane Primary; and Holy Trinity Primary, both Stockton; and Dormanstown Primary
