POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault in which a man was beaten with a baseball bat.
The incident happened on Saturday at 11am, at Essex Close, Redcar. The two attackers, who were both white, also damaged his property.
One of the attackers is described as aged between 19 and 25, with dyed blond hair, which was shaved at the sides. He was thin and had marks on his neck. He was wearing a blue tracksuit and was said to be scruffy.
His accomplice was about 30, plump, with a round face and about 6ft tall. He had a skinhead haircut which was growing back. He was wearing a maroon sweatshirt, dark jeans and shoes.
