PROPOSALS for the future of a scheme to protect the environment are to be taken to the people of Redcar.
The Coatham and South Gare project has been working with the community over the past year to develop ideas for the enhancement of the South Gare area.
The project, which is managed by the Tees Valley Wildlife Trust, with funding from the European Development Fund, has come up with proposals, including developing visitor numbers, landscaping, involving the local community and developing the wildlife of the area to boost and secure the environmental area.
Two consultation events are taking place next week and the public are invited to attend.
The first is at the Coatham Local Learning Centre, Kirkleatham Lane, from 3pm until 7pm on Wednesday, and the second is at Kirkleatham Old Hall Museum on Thursday, from 1pm to 4pm.
