A JAMES Bond lookalike from Darlington will add to the colour and atmosphere of Stanley's annual fun day.
The 007-double, Nick Richmond, will be at the Cancer Research Campaign's flagship event in Stanley from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, June 30.
All proceeds raised at the event, which is being supported by Derwentside District Council, will go towards funding pioneering work into developing new treatments for cancer.
An action-packed programme includes live entertainment, side-shows, stalls, games, roundabouts, a bouncy castle and much more.
Entertainment highlights include performances from rock, blues and metal group Skinflint, Stanley School choir, Stanley's latest boy band, Unison, and dancers from Sam's School of Dancing.
The Asda store in Stanley has contributed a football game with artificial turf, goal posts and footballs, as well as tombola prizes, including compact discs and radios.
Organisers are still keen to hear from anyone interested in putting on a display or act, or from people willing to help on the day.
