YOUNGSTERS from Skelton Junior School spent a special day learning about the construction industry.
The year four pupils attended the construction day at Redcar and Cleveland College thanks to sponsorship by the Construction Industry Training Board and the college.
They spent the morning in carpentry and joinery creating wooden numbers for the playground clock at school, then moved on to the wall and floor tiling section to complete Roman mosaics.
The course is designed to make pupils and teachers aware of the learning possibilities within construction in line with the national curriculum.
