SUNDAY racing returns to Ripon this weekend when the action is scheduled to start at 2.10.
An entertaining family day out is assured at one of Britain's most picturesque racecourses, with a variety of attractions for children centred on the two playgrounds in the Tattersalls and Course enclosures. As usual, there is free admission into all enclosures for accompanied children under 16 years of age.
The feature races on Sunday are the Tote Trifecta Sprint Stakes (a showcase handicap contest over the minimum distance of five furlongs), the Middleham Trainers Association Handicap Stakes (one mile and a quarter) and the Brown and Potter Handicap Stakes, a contest for three-year-olds over the extended mile and a half.
Musical entertainment during the afternoon is provided by the Knaresborough Silver Band
