TOP writers will address audiences at the Durham Literature Festival later this month, at Bishop Auckland Town Hall.
The festival starts on June 19, at 7.30pm, with Biting Back, the launch of an anthology of work by North-East writers.
Contributors, including children's author David Almond, Julia Darling and Wendy Robertson will be at the event.
On June 27, Jonathan Tulloch will be reading from his new book, The Bonny Lad.
On July 4, Lesley Glaister will read from her new book, Now You See Me.
Next Saturday and Sunday, Julia Darling and Margaret Wilkinson will be holding a workshop on writing short stories.
