A TEENAGER is recovering in hospital after being hit by a motorbike.
The boy, who has not been named by police, was with a group of friends on Cargo Fleet Lane, Middlesbrough, when the accident happened.
It is believed the boy ran into the path of the motorcycle, just north of the junction with The Greenway, at 7pm on Friday.
Both the motorcyclist and the boy were taken to the town's James Cook University Hospital.
Neither suffered life threatening injuries but the boy, believed to be 13 or 14, sustained broken bones and a wound to his stomach.
