THE honours have been piling up for Bedale Athletic's prolific young striker Adam Bramley.

After racking up a magnificent 44 goals last season, he was presented with the leading goalscorer trophy and was voted the player of the season at the Camerons Teesside League's recent presentation evening.

Bramley's marksmanship helped his team finish in their highest ever position of seventh, just three years after joining the Teesside League. He was also a crucial member of the Bedale team which won their first ever league trophy when they defeated Wolviston 2-1 in the final of the R T Raine trophy.

Bramley has been associated with Bedale FC for many years as a junior, making steady progress through the sides which play in the Harrogate League before starring for the Teesside League team.

Despite regular approaches from clubs in higher leagues, he has stayed loyal to the club and his dedication was recognised last year when he was awarded the Asquith Trophy for Outstanding Achievement at Bedale Athletic Sports Association.

Meanwhile, more than 60 players and guests attended Bedale FC's annual presentation evening when awards were handed over by club president Adrian Grayson.
