A NEW supermarket is to feature a tribute to the men who took part in the Jarrow March.
The Morrison's store at the Viking Centre in the South Tyneside town will have a bronze sculpture depicting the 1936 crusade to London by the town's jobless men.
The artwork, produced by artist Graham Ibbeson, will be unveiled in October although the store is due to open on Monday. It shows a family leaving the skeletal bows of a ship to seek a new future.
