Durham and District League - Nevilles Cross, the Second Division leaders, boast the only 100 percent record in the league after they beat the visiting Wingate by six points.
Newton Hall lost their 100 percent record when they went down at home to Murton, who now lead the Third Division. After Belmont beat the visiting Willington Spectrum by two points every team in the league has at least one win to its name.
In the First Division, Crook Glenholme managed to overcome the difficult green at Bowburn to whitewash their hosts.

In the Second Division Sherburn Village lost their first three matches, but 18 points from the last two games has moved them into fourth spot. They recorded a six point win in a 91-63 victory over the visiting Trimdon.

In the Third Division, the much improved team from Witton Gilbert recorded their third consecutive victory when they whitewashed their hosts at Kelloe with a massive 110 shots to 56 win.

Durham City Bowls Club
The club's ladies have won through to the qualifying stages to become one of two teams representing the County in the finals of the England Women's Bowling Association Triples Trophy
To be held at Leamington Spa in August, the team, with Joyce Woodward as lead and Joy Powney and Neil Hart, played a progression of close games against County and international opponents to have the opportunity to compete for the prestigious national trophy.
