SWIMMING starlet Hannah Creelman is on a double mission at the North Yorkshire pool where her love of the sport began.
The Northallerton teenager is spending the next two weeks on work experience at Thirsk swimming pool, where she will be passing on tips to other youngsters and getting in training for a major competition.
The 15-year-old, who is ranked third in her age group for the Scottish National Championships in Glasgow later this month, learned to swim at the pool.
And as well as getting some extra tuition from Thirsk chief coach Dave Smith, she will be learning all aspects of the role of a swimming teacher.
Pool manager Neil Hellawell said: "We hope that the extra coaching she will receive from Dave will give Hannah the edge at the national finals.
"She has already done extremely well in swimming competitions and we are delighted to welcome her onto the staff at the pool."
