FURIOUS mum Brenda Gavillet has complained to trading standards - after a "weedy" stripper failed to do a Full Monty at her daughter's 18th birthday party.
The family paid £65 for "Six-pack Steve" to surprise dental nurse Sarah, believing he would go all the way.
Now Brenda has called in trading standards to investigate and is demanding a full refund after the dancer failed to reveal all.
Brenda, from Hartlepool, organised the party night striptease at a social club near her home, believing the stripper would tear off his G-string.
She says she checked the hunk would strip to his birthday suit - but he refused to reveal his bare essentials.
Brenda, 45, had invited 40 female friends to enjoy the birthday treat and claims everyone was left disappointed.
She said: "He was supposed to give a Full Monty but he only went down to his underwear.
"The advert in the Yellow Pages said that they did the Full Monty. It is false advertising and I have threatened to take them to court.
"We were really upset and angry at the end of the night. There wasn't a strip, Sarah had to practically undress him and his underwear wouldn't come off.
"If we had seen him in real life, we would not have paid for him because he had a very weedy body."
But AA Academy boss Mark Robinson, who supplied the stripper, said he was no wimp.
"He's tanned, good looking, he's got a six-pack and he works out - he's a great stripper.
"The people concerned are moaning about nothing. We did not rip off anyone. There will be no refund and the lady can take me to court.
"The stripper did what he was paid to do - end of story."
Ian Harrison, Hartlepool Borough Council's Trading Standards officer, confirmed he had received a complaint from Brenda.
He advised people booking strippers to get confirmation in writing and to check small print.
He added: "We have advised the lady of her rights and if she feels there has been some misrepresentation, she could sue. We didn't feel that it warrants criminal action from us.
