FOOD producers in the North York Moors National Park are being given a boost.
The new operators of Sutton Bank visitor centre restaurant are aiding the local economy with a menu of local foods.
Beck Richardson and Alison Consett, who are running the popular eating spot, are using a wide range of locally-produced foods from herbs and cheese, to fruit and meat.
"We have found a niche market which is proving a big success" said 21-year-old Beck, who lives in Masham.
She studied geography at university and did a stint in public relations in London, before returning to her native Yorkshire to go into a career in catering.
As well as serving locally-produced food, Beck and Alison also employ 16 staff, which is also helping the park's economy.
The Sutton Bank centre attracts 150,000 tourists annually from all over the world.
Mike Pratt, the park authority's head of communications said "Food produced in the National Park is becoming increasingly popular. There is a wide range and of excellent quality.
"The restaurant is a triple benefit to the park - by using local products, employing local staff, and providing splendid organic food to give our visitors a real taste of good North Yorkshire cooking."
