The British Lions roared out a warning today with a 42-8 demolition of Queensland Reds in Brisbane.
Graham Henry's side swept aside the Super 12 semi-finalists with an awesome four-try first-half display which left the hosts reeling.
The Reds were left shell-shocked as brilliant fly-half Jonny Wilkinson inspired wave after wave of Lions attacks in a game dubbed the "unofficial fourth Test."
Tries from Dan Luger, Rob Henderson, Daffyd James and Richard Hill gave the tourists a commanding 32-3 lead at the break.
Immediately after the interval, Brian O'Driscoll romped home to extend the Lions' lead.
Man-of-the-match Wilkinson slotted home the conversion and then took his total points tally to 17 with a penalty.
Gritty Queensland fought back and were rewarded for an improved second-half showing with an opportunist Sam Cordingley try.
Despite a third successive victory, Lions coach Henry warned his side still had a lot to learn.
He said: "I think we had a good first-half but let the intensity drop in the second. We can't do that in Tests otherwise we will get beaten.
"There was some very good points but there is still a lot of work to do."
