PEOPLE in Redcar are being invited to look back in time to see what Warrenby and the South Gare looked like during the Second World War.
The event, at Redcar Library, has been organised by the Tees Valley Wildlife Trust. It will give people the chance to find out about the construction of the South Gare breakwater, uncover the mystery of the mounds at Coatham Marsh, and find out what local people remember about the history of the area.
The free exhibition, which runs until Saturday, June 30, features old photographs and new pictures taken by students from Cleveland College of Art and Design, and has been put together with information supplied by local people and experts through a series of workshops and events
