PEOPLE in Redcar are being invited to visit Redcar Library to see what Warrenby and the South Gare looked like during World War Two.
The event has been organised by the Tees Valley Wildlife Trust.
It offers the chance to find out about the construction of South Gare breakwater, uncover the mystery of the mounds at Coatham Marsh and find out what local people remember about the area's past and heritage.
The exhibition features a mixture of old photographs and new pictures taken by students from Cleveland College of Art and Design. It has been put together with information supplied by local people and experts at a series of workshops and events.
The display is free and is open until Saturday, June 30.
