THE University of Sunderland is holding an event to drive home the message that science and technology can be fun.
The Science and Technology Innovations Day will take place next Saturday and will include a host of entertainment for the family. This will include a Playstation II linked to a screen in the Prospect Building.
Visitors can also take part in a cyber quiz, experience space travel in a simulator, make a solar-powered boat or surf the Internet.
Sun FM's Simon Grundy and Gill Hope will be attending the event, which will take place at St Peter's Campus from noon.
