PEOPLE can see plans for the revival of a disused railway next weekend.
Enthusiasts are trying to reopen the Weardale railway, between Stanhope and Bishop Auckland, County Durham, and members of the Weardale Loco Preservation group have been working to restore the old rolling stock.
An open day will be held at Stanhope station next Saturday and Sunday.
There will also be an exhibition of photographs and memorabilia and a steam train on display. For more information, contact chairman David Foxton on (01388) 817907.
