SIX years ago, Calvin Bailey was a school leaver, facing the prospect of finding work in a Britain still recovering from recession.
But, since 1995, he has travelled to Norway, Cyprus, Italy and Greece - all with the Royal Signals Regiment, which he joined when he left Risedale College, in Catterick Garrison.
The Army has brought him back home to North Yorkshire ahead of his next posting to Turkey, so he can relay his experience to people interested in a career in the services.
"There are over 140 different trades available in the Army," said the area's senior recruitment officer, Warrant Officer, Alan Pounder.
