A YOUNG mother who used her two-year-old son to mask a drugs hand-over in prison was locked up herself yesterday.
Katrina Lumsden, 20, said her actions at Northallerton Young Offenders' Institution, followed threats of violence from her boyfriend.
She was recorded on CCTV as she handed over cannabis, Teesside Crown Court heard.
Lumsden, of Kemble Square, Sunderland, admitted possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply and was sent to a young offenders' institution for 28 days.
