THE Autumn Flower Show in Harrogate, which has become the biggest of its type in Europe, will play host to 13 national amateur society events this year.
The show, which runs at the Great Yorkshire Showground from September 14 to 16, will see the National Vegetable Society taking over a new home - the showground's recently completed £2.25m exhibition hall.
The building was due to be officially opened by the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh on July 10 during the Great Yorkshire Show, but the agricultural event was cancelled because of the foot-and-mouth crisis.
Almost 100 leading British nurseries have signed up to attend the show.
Discounted tickets are available by contacting a ticket hotline on 0870-7583333.
