A TV football pundit will be the guest at a Teesside school's recognition event.
Match of the Day presenter Mark Lawrenson will take part in a Celebration of Achievement evening at Nunthorpe Comprehensive School, Middlesbrough, tomorrow.
In return for the ex-Liverpool and Republic of Ireland player's support, he was asked to nominate a charity to benefit from the school's fundraising.
He chose the NSPCC, which is running the Full Stop campaign to end the abuse and neglect of children.
At the celebration evening, Mr Lawrenson will present a cheque for £1,300, raised by a non-uniform day, to the charity.
