A TEENAGER was shot in the eye with an airgun in broad daylight.
The 14-year-old was walking along Princess Louise Road in Blyth, Northumberland, at 5pm on Tuesday when someone called out to him.
When he looked up, he saw a gun held by someone on the roof of the old fire station and he was shot.
He was taken to Wansbeck District General Hospital where he was treated for a superficial scratch to his eyeball.
