Jamie Delgado was blasted out of Wimbledon in straight sets by awesome Andre Agassi today.
The British No5 was brutally put to the sword 6-2 6-4 6-3 by the rampant American second seed on Centre Court.
Delgado, 24, went on to the most famous tennis court in the world full of hope and determination after fellow Brit Barry Cowan, 26, pushed Pete Sampras to the edge.
He was also backed by a cheering crowd of over 14,000 willing him to do well.
But Delgado's hopes were soon blown away in the teeth of an Agassi whirlwind.
The flamboyant 1992 Wimbledon champion conjured a non-stop onslaught of powerful serves, crisp volleys and scything ground strokes in a mighty performance.
Delgado played some stylish tennis but was out-muscled and out-gunned by shaven-headed Agassi, 31.
