Bass North Cleveland League - Ormesby Hall crashed to 35 all out when they visited Greatham Paragonians in Division One.
Peter Hughes claimed six wickets for just 21 runs in a devastating 11-overs spell and he was assisted in the Paragonians' attack by Phill Ross, whose two wickets were taken without cost in three overs, and John Grange who claimed one wicket.
Replying, Greatham Paragonians conceded four wickets but were never in serious danger and won 15.2 overs as Dave Stelling carried his bat for 20.
Normanby Parklands had 54 runs in hand of Hinderwell after posting 180-5 which included 41 by Bennison, 57 from Ramzan and 30 by Leadbitter. Swain returned 4-34 for Hinderwell who were restrictd to 127 by the bowling of Frewin, with 7-37 and Walker (3-62). Bowes and Theaker both scored 31 for Hinderwell.
New Marske managed just 95 at The Ladle for whom Burdon took 4-38 and Sutherland 3-34. Pacitto ended with 31 not out and Sutherland finished unbeaten on 27 in The Ladle's nine-wicket victory.
Staithes had 107 runs in hand of Brotton after reaching 167-8. Theaker (30), Brown (34 not out) and Allen (29) were the main contributors and for Brotton, Shaw claimed 4-35 and Broughton 3-38.
Replying, the Brotton innings struggled and closed with just 60 runs on the board. Major was in excellent form, taking five wickets fora meagre six runs and Brown captured 3-24.
Skelton Castle overtook the Middlesbrough Co-op total of 159-7 with nine wickets intact thanks to Hogarth (89) and Stainthorpe (59 not out). The Co-op's innings featured a contribution of 70 by Gunn and both Spence (27) and Kemphall (24) added useful scores. Hogarth was the most productive of the five-man Skelton Castle attack as he returned figures of 4-41.
In Division Two, Skelton Castle B were all out for just 44 losing by eight wickets to Cowpen Bewley A for whom Peacock took 4-15 and Alcock 5-12.
The Ormesby Hall batsmen also struggled and realised just 70 at home to Gillens. Henry captured five wickets for just 30 runs and when Gillens replied, Sherwood set them on their way to a six-wickets success when he opened the innings and scored 38. Three of the four wickets fell to Taylor for nine runs.
Moorsholm posted the formidable total of 184-7 mainly as a result of the efforts of Dowson (41) and Snaith (73). Five of the wickets were taken by Mitchell for 91 runs and in reply, Dormanstown were all out for just 54 as Bangay returned 5-16 and Snaith 4-21.
Normanby Parklands B lost by four wickets visiting Norton. Scratherton (40) and Blyth (30) gave the Parklands' innings a good send-off but a total of only 130 was achieved when Walker captured 3-26. Norton made an uncertain start but Harker carried his bat for 44. Three of the six wickets to go down were taken by McGough for 23 runs.
Loftus B just edged Boosbeck by six runs. Required to score 117, Boosbeck were all out for 110 which included a half century by Lorraines. Hogan was unquestionably man-of-the-match and following his top-scoring 32 in the Loftus B total of 116, he claimed eight wickets for just 44 runs. Richardson had a good day with the ball for Boosbeck finishing with five wickets for 40.
Eurocell Marshall-Tufflex Darlington and District League
The foot-and-mouth disease is still curtailing the programme but Cockerton managed to stage their game in Division One against Rockliffe Park.
It was the visitors who celebrated, however, when they had four wickets in hand overtaking the Cockerton total of 139-9 which included 23 by Black and 28 not out from Gill.
Howells was in good form with the ball for Rockliffe Park, capturing five wickets for 51 runs and Garbutt returned 3-36. Hart gave the visitors' reply a good start scoring 37 before Garbutt contributed a useful 27. Farrow was the most successful bowler for Cockerton, taking three wickets for 31 runs.
Four games went ahead in Division Two and Haughton had 51 runs to spare defeating Trimdon CCA. Colin Wilkinson (38) and Warren Spark (30) put together a third-wicket partnership of 66 before Paul Sergeant (32) and Michael Bestford (31) helped the score along to 167-8.
Danny Carter bowled 11 overs for Trimdon returning 4-37 and John Tinkler had 3-48 from six overs.
Replying, Trimdon were all out in 36.4 overs for just 116. Colin Wilkinson sent down an economical 15 overs, conceding only 27 runs for three wickets and Jeff Maguire captured three wickets for 23 runs in eight overs.
Middleton Tyas just had the edge on Witton-le-Wear winning by only 11 runs.
Rummell (35) top-scored in the Middleton Tyas innings which produced 119-9 and for Witton-le-Wear, Evans took 4-17 and Brack 4-26.
Responding, Witton-le-Wear were all out for 108 of which Jons contributed 32.
Rummell completed a good day claiming five wickets for 38 runs and Wilkinson returned 4-27.
Cliffe reached 139 at Brompton on Swale when opening batsman Rogerson top-scored with 60. Fellstead was in good form with the ball for the home side, taking six wickets for just 20 runs and an opening contribution of 57 put Brompton on the way to a four-wickets win despite Knight picking up four wickets for just 25 runs.
Elstob (41) top-scored when Lands realised 139 at home to Dales for whom Hutchinson returned the excellent figures of 5-37 and Goldsmith captured 3-20.
Dales were back in the pavilion for only 116 as Laverick took 4-32 and Little 3-24.
