The British and Irish Lions today stunned world champions Australia with a sensational 29-13 victory in Brisbane.
In a thrilling First Test the tourists were made to hang on to the death but were worthy winners after a devastating performance.
Jason Robinson got the Lions off to a dream start as he raced over to score the opening try in the left corner after just three minutes.
An Andrew Walker penalty reduced the gap but it was only a matter of time before Graham Henry's side extended their lead.
On 32 minutes Brian O'Driscoll ripped open the Aussie defence before off-loading to Robinson who sent Dafydd James over.
Jonny Wilkinson added the conversion to give the Lions a 12-3 lead at the break.
The Lions began the second period in breathtaking fashion with O'Driscoll again the inspiration.
After the kick-off the mercurial Irishman produced a dazzling solo run to dive under the posts for a brilliant try which Wilkinson converted.
Wilkinson then added a penalty as the Lions launched wave after wave of attack against their shell shocked hosts.
The Lions looked in total control and they punished the Wallabies again when Scott Quinnell barged his way under the posts.
Leicester flanker Martin Corry was then sin-binned after repeated Lions' infringements and with a man down they started to struggle.
The Aussies made the most of their extra man and they punished the Lions with tries from Walker and Nathan Grey.
With time running out Australia piled on the pressure but they couldn't break down the magnificent Lions defence again.
