PEOPLE are being warned to ensure barbecues have cooled down before storing them after a fire at the weekend.
The blaze broke out in an outhouse in Rydal Avenue, Grangetown, Teesside, on Sunday night.
It started after the occupants put away their barbecue after use, thinking they had removed all the coals.
Station Officer Ron Carr said: "When people are putting barbecues away, they should allow time for the coals to cool down."
