AN inquest will open tomorrow into the death of a 36-year-old foundry worker whose body was found in a pool last month.
Michael Burrup, from Railway Terrace, Stanhope, County Durham, had been walking home with three other men from a night out in a village pub.
Police are still waiting to interview one of his companions, a 26-year-old Sunderland man, who was found in the same pool and has since been treated for a broken right arm and shoulder blade at Durham's University Hospital.
An initial post-mortem examination failed to reveal the exact cause of Mr Burrup's death
