Justine Henin will meet Venus Williams in the Ladies' Singles final after beating Jennifer Capriati in three sets on centre court today.
Eighth seed Henin didn't make the best of starts with Capriati claiming the first set, 6-2 but the teenager's reply was nothing short of miraculous as she fought back to take the second set, 6-4.
Henin then capped a remarkable comeback, sealing her place in Saturday's final, as she clinched the third set, 6-2.
The super-slim teenage star, just 5ft 5ins, told the BBC: "I can't imagine I came back.
"I wasn't in the match at the beginning but I fought back.
"I'm so happy. Now I hope to go all the way and win the tournament.
"It was difficult at the start but after that I got back into it."
French Open semi-finalist Henin had an injured ankle strapped during the showdown and was in agony from foot blisters.
She admitted: "It was difficult to move about the court."
Reigning champion Williams eventually sealed her passage into the final despite a gallant fight from Lindsey Davenport.
Number two seed Williams made a stunning start, taking the first set 6-2 but fellow American Davenport fought back to claim the second, 7-6.
In the third set Williams completely destroyed her opponent, making sure of a second consecutive Wimbledon final appearance, winning 6-1.
