THE STARS came out earlier than usual in Newcastle last night when the producers of a new film set in the city unveiled their cast.
Former Absolute Beginner, Patsy Kensit will head the romantic comedy called The One and Only.
She posed for pictures with her leading man Richard Roxborough - recently seen acting opposite Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible 2 - and other members of the cast on Newcastle Quayside last night.
Asked what the new movie was about, she replied: "It's a tale of people in the wrong relationships getting in the right ones."
Quizzed about her split with Liam Gallagher, whose partner Nicole Appleton gave birth to a son, Gene, this week, Patsy refused to discuss the bad boy of pop.
The One and Only isn't the first film Patsy has made in The North-East. She spent a summer in Scarborough filming A Chorus of Disapproval ten years ago
