A YOUNG soldier who recently graduated from a top Army college is returning to Bishop Auckland to talk to young people about his experiences.
Steven White, 17, won a place at the Army Foundation Course in Harrogate, where he was taught military and survival skills, studied for NVQ qualifications, learned new sporting skills including rock climbing and canoeing.
Steven, who studied at Wolsingham School and Community Centre, will be spending this week at the Bishop Auckland Army Careers Information Office, where he enlisted, before taking up his first posting with the Royal Dragoon Guards.
He will be talking to young people about the Harrogate college and Army careers
