PARENTS, pupils and teachers joined forces at the weekend to raise money for an adventure playground.
A fun day was held at Golden Flatts Primary School, in Hartlepool, to raise money for a play area at the school.
The day was organised by the Golden Flats Community Action Team, a group made up of parents and led by headteacher Kate Callan.
The fun started at 10.30am when the event was opened by Century FM DJ Paul Gough.
There were various attractions on offer including a fairground, bouncy castle and a ducking stool.
Football fans were able to try their luck out in a penalty shoot-out against players from Hartlepool United and children from the primary school entertained the crowds by singing.
Mrs Callan said: "We are grateful to everyone who supported us. A play area would really benefit the pupils.
"The school would love to hear from local companies and organisations willing to support the fundraising drive."
