PEOPLE in Redcar are being invited to take part in a charity bike ride.
The third Redcar Seaside Pedal Special takes place on Sunday, July 22, in aid of Leukaemia Research funds.
Cyclists will ride along the coastline from the Majuba car park to Marske and back, with riders clocking up more than 900 miles for the charity.
The main aim of the 1.5 mile event is for families to ride together along the seafront in a fun and safe atmosphere while raising funds for charity..
There will also be a toddlers' challenge taking place at R-Kade, based at the Majuba car park.
Th event has been organised by Redcar Town Centre Management and is being supported by The Clarion, The Northern Echo's free weekly sister paper serving Redcar and east Cleveland, along with Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, Redcar Business Association, R-Kade and others.
Registration forms can be obtained from Redcar Town Centre manager's office at 16 Millbank Terrace or by callling (01642) 472485. People can also register on the day, from 11am, at the Majuba car park.
