A TWO-year-old German shepherd-cross dog is in need of a new home.
Cody has been at the Ramshaw Rescue Centre, near Bishop Auckland, for five months.
When she arrived she had had very little contact with people but her stay at the centre has transformed her into a loveable character.
Manager Kate Wilson said: "She's absolutely smashing and she is good with kids. I cannot understand why someone hasn't taken her already. She is sociable, pleasant and comes back when you call her.
"She needs one-to-one attention in a home where there are no other dogs. Somewhere where someone is going to give her attention.''
