The 15-year-old was assaulted in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, on Wednesday, between 6pm and 7pm, near Millgate and Marage Road.
Only brief details of the attack have so far been released.
Detectives are seeking two men. One is about 50, 6ft, with short grey hair. He wore a white shirt with black checks and green trousers. The second was aged between 30 and 40, and was unshaven. He wore a top of a velvety material.
