SUPERMARKET workers have created a badge for an air cadets squadron.
Staff from Asda, in Bishop Auckland, have designed a squadron badge with the help of the 2505 Bishop Auckland Squadron, which will give the group its own identity after 29 years of parading under the Air Training Corps badge.
The design will be unveiled at the Territorial Army Centre, in St Andrews Road, on July 26 by the Bishop of Durham. The centre will host an evening of activities, with drill display by the air cadets.
