Motocross comes to the North-East Centre next week at Witton Castle, near Crook, and applications to take part are being invited.
Iveston and Satley Motocycle Club get their season up and running with an adult meeting at the venue alongside The A68 trunk road on Sunday, July 22.
The meeting will be sponsored by Bikesport of Westgate Road, Newcastle, while thanks go to Gavin Linscott for his work in helpinf to stage the meeting.
Regulations are available at Bikesport, at Off Road and Castlewood practise track.
Iveston event secretary Ann Cairns is inviting postal entries to her at 37 Wolsingham Road, Tow Law, County Durham. Phone entries are not permitted, neither are late entries or entries on the day. All competitors must hold a current ACU motocross licence, absolutely no exceptions, and no day licences.
The rules also take in ACU and MAFF guidelines. All vehicles entering Witton Castle by the one-way access road will be stopped and checked, competitors, officials and riders alike.
All vehicles, including motocross machines, must be totally free of any material, earth, mud, grass, and be completely clean, and, if they don't comply with the requirements of Witton Castle gate staff they will be refused entry to the meeting, that carries a no-exceptions clause.
Entries close on Tuesday. Solo, all classes, sidecars, and quads.
l Cairns would like to heat from any motocross followers wanting to get involved in organising meetings.
She said: "We have lost some our stalwarts due to retirement, our current clerk of course Jacky Baxter has personal problems and that leaves us with only three regular track staff to try and get everything sorted.
"If anyone is interested just drop me a line, but we would prefer people that are prepared to give some time."
