DAVID Harland, from Whitby, scored a double win over Walter Taylor's excellent tracks at Richmond's junior show.
He took the 1m open on Colourwood Colando, ahead of Sally Jane Adams and Kosmic King, and also won the Members' Cup with Betty Bug.
James Reveley was second in the Members' Cup on Spirit of Boadicea and he also claimed the first two places in the National 128cm with Cappagh Misty and Stainsby Starburst.
Sally Jane Adams won the National 138cm, ahead of David Harland's Grey Guy, while Rebecca Roberts and Kilkenny Boy took the Foxhunter. Stephanie Robinson rode Celtic Fusion to win the British Novice, ahead of Joe Jack on Devlin. The positions were reversed in the Blue Chip Newcomers.
Richmond EC has a full range of events lined up this summer, including more show jumping, Trailblazers qualifiers and dressage. On August 4, the venue hosts the four/five-year-old Young Event Horse qualifiers, with the finals at Burghley Horse Trials.
